Default To shorten or not to shorten....that is the question

AOD conversion....do I need to shorten the driveshaft or can the same thing be accomplished by shortening the slip yoke?

This project is getting to be fun!

My son is about to quash the idea of rebuilding the 289, and go ahead and soup up the 5.0. Megasquirt II here I come!!!!

Thanks guys!!

You can do either; I'd just cut down the yoke. MSII huh? Cool!

Yeah, MSII. I am gonna throw an MSD 6AL box in the mix and a nice new billet distributor to boot. Should be killer.

I suspect the 302 will be my toy for a while. I am gonna clean up his 289 a bit (I can't resist making some nice power from that one before I drop it back in), and drop it in long enough to put some steroids into that town car motor.

Look at the features on the MSII. You can't beat that for the price, and with the new version of the datalogger software it shoudl be a vast improvement over a chip and a factory box.
