Default Upgrading suspension on a 1970 fastback.

Hi, I dont usually post in this forum, but does anyone know if there is a good suspension kit for these cars. My friend has a 1970 fastback and he wants to do a restomod type conversion. I know there are like front subframe kits for camaros that have coil-overs and stuff and the subframe is supposedly better than the original. Is there something like this for mustangs? I looked around and I couldnt find anything. Also, what about the rear suspension? He wants it to handle good, but is not expecting anything crazy. Thanx everyone.

Is he wanting to stay "stock" with all the parts, or is he looking to run the car on the strip heavily too. New leafs will make a huge difference in handling and stance, and front coils can be bought to stiffen or soften it up too. My advice, and I don't want to step on any sponsers here, would be: NPD(National Parts Depot), or Mustangs Plus.

Also look up "Total Control Products". Some of the Mustang vendors sell thier stuff in addition to other places. They sell alot of upgraded suspension and steering parts for the vintage Mustangs. Most of thier stuff is bolt on so if you ever want to go back to stock you can easily.

I've never tried thier stuff but I've seen it advertised quite a bit and they have been around for awhile.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
