Default Bolt size for timing pointer

I have a 66 mustang with a 289 4V. I can't seem to find the correct bolt size for my timing pointer for the harmonic dampner that mounts to the timing chain cover. Please help if you know what size it is.

1/2" wrench fits mine, but it seems there's 2 place's to bolt it to the engine, and 1 bolt is gone on mine. The one I measured was closest to the oil pan. HTH

I need the bolt size for the one located at the top...not the lower one by the fuel pump. The bolt for the top is smaller than the bottom one.

Mine is the same then, and it looks like it's smaller than the bottom hole, so it's either a 3/8 or 5/16" from giving it an look. Go to Ace or somewhere and buy a few bolts. You can't go wrong, because you'll find a need for the leftover's, eventually.
