I've never worked with the Hedman headers, but I know for some long tube headers the drivers side power steering cylinder needs to be unbolted and moved out of the way to get the headers in and out. The passenger side might be ok, unless you run into problems with the fit around the starter. LT's are a pain to move around in the engine bay. That is a huge advantage that the shorty headers have over the long tubes. Good luck on the swap if it is what you decide to do. My experience is with a set of Doug Thorley long tube headers on both my 67 and 68 coupe.
