Default T5 conversion need clutch

I'm a new member and this is my first thread. I hope I am doing this correctly. I am not a mechanic so please don't get to technical.

I have all the major parts for a T5 transmission conversion for a 1969 Mustang with a C4 transmission. I have been unable to locate the original clutch pedal. I plan to use the T5 clutch cable. My exchange book shows only a 1969/70 Mustang or Cougar clutch pedal will work. Are there other clutche pedals that will fit the original clutch/brake assembly? Will the T5 clutch pedal work or can it be modified to fit the original assembly? Or if I get the dimensions of the original pedal, can one be fabricated? I don't plan to start the project until I can solve the clutch pedal problem.

Have a great day.

David

I checked rockauto.com and found associated parts but not a clutch pedal.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Have a great day.

Default clutch pedal

try Ebay and search under car parts, I have found some hard to find parts there and you may find the entire pedal system. ALWAYS USE CREDIT CARD TO AVOID SCAMS AND CHECK THE SELLERS FEEDBACK PRIOR TO BIDDING

Thank you so much for responding to message. I have checked ebay and the only thing I found is a clutch/brake pedal assembly for $500.00. First I don't want to pay that much, second as far as I know I only need the clutch pedal. Also, there are other clutches, 1968 for example, but I understand that it will not fit.

While reviewing some of the message, one member said that the clutch assembly from the donor car, 1991 Mustang GT, will work. I sent him a message for clarification and he has not answered.

Thanks for your help.
