Default T5 Conversion will a 1967/68 clutch pedal work

I really need help on this. I am planning a T5 conversion for my 1969 Mustang, 302, C4, with power brakes. So far I have not been able to find a clutch pedal. Ebay has a 1967/68 clutch pedal listed and the seller thinks it will also work on a '69. I know the physical shape is different. Can anyone tell me for sure whether it will work or not.

Have a great day.

no, the hanging pedal bracket is different, so the pedals will not line up

Twister,

Thanks for the information. One more question. One of the members, if I understood his response, said that the '91 clutch pedal from the donor car would work for my '69 T5 conversion. Do you know anything about that?

Have a great day.

It SHOULD work. Met a guy with a 69 Mach who had installed the 91 pedal hanger and was using the 91 clutch pedal and cable setup much as it was used in the foxbody. Said it was almost a direct bolt in, had to drill a hole or 2. Past that I dunno, didn't get a good look at it and getting info from him was like getting water from a rock. I do know it wont work in 65-66 unless you like to butcher the firewall. I know they changed the firewall in the later cars and it's supposed to be shaped ideally for the fox pedal setp?

Default 69-70 clutch pedal

Modern Driveline now has a clutch pedal for 69-70 Mustangs! I was amazed when I saw the picture in the latest Mustangs Plus add. $165 from Must+. $160 from Moderndriveline.com. MD even has a bearing replacement for the older nylon bushings. Check it out.
