Default 1965 1966 Heater Not Working

The heater on my 1966 Mustang is not working, and it is getting colder by the day around here, please help!!!

I have checked all cables and they are connected and working properly.

The actual heater box, hoses, and heater coil element are brand new, but still no heat.

The blower motor is working perfectly, i'm dumbfounded.

Please Help!!!

Do you have a thermostat in your engine, and how warm does the engine get?

Just because it's new, doesn't always mean it's good. I've bought brand new parts before that were defective, and they can/will make them right.

Hello. If everything appears to be working correctly but the air blowing out just isn't hot, that's almost always an obstruction of some sort in the coolant flow.Start the car, let it warm up to normal operating temperature and then check the two hoses that go into the back of the heater core to see if they are hot. They should feel about the same as the upper radiator hose.If no, then something is blocking the flow. Don't take this the wrong way, but you did take those little caps off of the heater core tubes before you attached the hoses, didn't you? It can happen.Hope that helps.
