Question Looking For An 8" 3.55 Ring Gear And Pinion

I am just finishing my T5 conversion and would like to swap out the 8" 2.79 ring gear and pinion for a 3.55. From reading the messages an 8" doesn't seem to be the most desirable so I thought those of you that have changed to a 9" rearend may have a 3.55 laying around. I can buy them for about $175.00 but I thought I would try this first.

Have a great day.

Cool

The Mustang II came with an 8" diff. and some of them had some good gears to make up for the shortage of power.

Thanks for your response but I finally located the gears on Craigslist. Now, I just have to figure out how to install them.

Have a great day.
