Default msd distributor o ring leaking

I have a fresh (1700 miles) 390 im my 68 coupe. The msd distributor is leaking oil up onto the intake, small amounts of oil are pooling behind it. The guy who built it put a new o ring on yesterday 1-6-06. Still leaking today. Any thoughts?

lower intake, timing cover, head gasket, take your pick.
Check for antifreeze in the oil, or white smoke. watch your temperature gauge to rule out the head gasket. Add die into the oil use a black light to find the leak.

Thanks for the advise, the engine builder wants to replace the o ring one more time. thinks he may have nicked it during the install on the sharp edges inside the manifold.........

Its not coming from the dizzy. Tell your builder to reinstall the intake.
