Question Accelerator linkage on a 1966 Mustang 289 V-8?

I have recently put a 302 into my 1966 coupe. It is a manual transmission and I have bought the proper accelerator linkage. It looks much differently than my old one. Is there anyone who could send my a picture of how their accelerator linkage is mounted? I would appreciate it. Either post or send to
mes@stateline-isp.com Thanks a lot!! Garrett

Not sure what you have, but when I put a Holley 4150 on my '68 Cougar, I ended up using the ball-stud on the carb to connect it to the linkage. I simply cut the rod-end off of an old throttle cable, and used small hose clamps to attach it to the Coug's linkage. It ain't pretty, but it works.
