Obviously I can't run the 3 bolt crank pulley from the 289 that came out of the car on the 4 bolt 302 crank that is in the car, and now I have a bit of a dilemma.

I managed to located a 3 groove v-belt pulley that bolted up, but don't want to run the extra weight of the extra 2 grooves or this oversized pulley.

I am not having much luck locating a 4 bolt crank pulley set (summit has the v-belt sets in 3 bolt only). Does anyone know of a maker of a set of replacement pulleys that will bolt up to this 4 bolt crank end?

Scour the boneyards, They went to the four bolt setup in the '70s.

I scoured every boneyard nearby. They all crush and dispose every 4 months around here.

I am wondering how well the setup I have on this thing is gonna work out due to the size of the pulleys.

the 189 is only expensive if you don't have what you need or have to rebuild an engine because the other one overheated and went to **** in a hurry.....
