Default 1964 motor mounts 289 which sides which?

The 1964 motor mounts have a long side and a short side. (Where the mount bolts to engine) Can someone please quickly take a look or tell me, does the long side go toward the front or the rear of the vehicle? Somehow I have either 2 left or 2 right side mounts. Of course there are no identifying marks. I just want to buy the mount I need, not a whole new pair. Thanks for any insight!

Default

I came across the same thing when I changed mine.
They are both exactly the same.

The long side faces the front on the generator ( passenger) side and the the short side to the front on the drivers side.
