Cool 1969 Mustang Project Advice. What's the best place to start?

hey guys i haven't been here for a while but u guys are a great help and i'm askin for it again ....i have my 69' coupe project and i was juswondering where as athe best place to start would be? exterior, interior, or engine? and what kind of advice would be helpfull for each thanks again guys

motor, exterior then interior... but also build up you suspension, I had one years ago, and it only like to go straight!!! then I got a firebird also a 69 that liked winding roads, guess which one was sold...
put a windsor motor in it though!!!

ok thanks for the suggestion keep them coming.....and y a windsor???? i was kinda thinkin a stroked 351 Cleveland and my uncle suggested doing some thing huge like a bored and stroked 460 wit a bird catcher on top...i jus said to turbo the cleveland stroker....so keep the engine suggestions coming

Hi, the cleveland is a larger motor so it is gonna wiegh more in the car, making turning even harder than it is with these old cars, also there are lots of kits for the windsor, making it cheaper to stroke than the cleveland.

I would do body work, then get your driveline in, then the interior. You want everything paitned that needs to be painted first, ie the engine bay and such.

I vote Cleveland stroker!

Doing the body work first would be a mistake, with all the activity going on installing an engine transmission and such, its not a matter of if but when you scratch that pretty new paint job. Definatley driveline, body, interior.

that's what i was thinking was driveline first then ex and interior...i really like the cleveland stroker idea it's a little more rare to see then a windsor stroker...but yea if ya got any ideas about anything it is greatly appreciated...
