I would put on an Eldebrock water pump if they make one for your car year. But a rebuild from napa is good, I don't go anywhere else for such critical parts.

I've got a Milodon high volume pump with the aluminum housing for under 90 bucks from Summit. It's been on the engine for 5 years and it's still doing its job. The Edelbrock pump is good but I think it's way over priced.

If you are thinking about getting a stock style pump it is going to be cast iron and heavy if you are concerned about weight. Don't forget that in 1970 the inlet port on the pump was changed from the passenger side to the driver's side. All the best,----Chuck
