I have read that it is challenging, and some special mounts and headers are required. Does anyone know where i can get this info?

I have a chance to purchase a 10.5:1 freshly rebuilt, all forged, machined block and heads 351C for about 1900 Bucks, and it seems like a pretty hot deal to me.

I do not know much about the 351 motors, let alone the Cleveland.
The block has been bored .30 over, which makes me nervous as i understand the Cleveland is notorious for thin walls.

If anyone can point me toward some info on cramming a 351C into 1965 mustang, or some general info 351C performance, i would appreciate it!
dropping in a built 351C is far more involved than a 351W.you need special headers...........i know a 351W is a tight squeeze..and you'll neede sub-frame connectors unless you want a pretzel!can't beat a good running 351C!Best of the small blocks!

Default 460

[quote=Dalai65;810391]I'm installing a 460 in my 1965 coupe...So I know you can put a 351c in yours.[

I bet you also took the shock towers out of that '65 to make a 385 series fit in that engine bay. The 67/68's had bigger bays & the 460 is STILL a tight fit,as is a FE like a 390.the '65& 66's also have thos e stupid cowl braces.............not like the 67/68's that you can take out. you'll definately need special headers for a 351C.
