Default whats the difference between efi computers

im doinf a fuel injection project on my 351w and was wondering whats the difference between the A9L comoputer or the A9P and whatever else they have. what would be the best one to use or program. ill also be rinning a t-5 if that helps.

None really, one is 5spd and one is auto. 5spd is a hair more agressive, but both will work and most people can't seem to tell the diff. I think the L is the 5spd verison.

so if i was to go with the A9L are there any recomendations for computer programs? I will want to put it in stock to get the fuel injection setup but later on modify. has anyone done this, i would love to hear how they went about it

Yes the A9L is for the 5sp and either would work. And depending on how far you go with the mod the mass air flow will adjust for most changes, but if you get too radical you can have a custom chip burnt for this computer.

so there is really no programing that i would have to do? so long as everything is connected correctly it should run

Should run fine as long as the injector size is matched to the MAF. If you are using the stock MAF and 19lb injectors this may be one of the first things you want to upgrade because the 19lb injectors are only good for I believe either 300 or 350 hp. Hope this helps.
