Default wiring questions (starter and ignition) for 68

My son is just reassembling his 68 after being apart for bead blasting and painting for over a year. Got engine in but cannot get starter solenoid to trip starter. Nothing coming from the switch to the solenoid. Have no wiring schematic. (going to buy one but he is anxious to "turn it over" while home on break from college). Any thoughts or someone who could send us a schematic of this so we have something to go on this weekend.
Appreciate it tons!!!!!

IF you just want to turn it over you can Bridge out the solenoid with a jumper lead or welding cable from the positive battery terminal to the starter side of the solenoid .
I have attached diagram from '66 hope it helps.
good luck
