Alright guys, I need a little help here.
I have a 69' Coupe Deluxe that I have dang near completed the full restoration of mechanical parts. Almost everything from the dryer on the AC to the fuel filler tube in the trunk.
So here's where I'm at.. The car has not been sitting well through turns. It's a little more responsive one way than the other, and when I go through turns (I wanna say to the left) it feels as though one of the wheels won't stabilize, or stay straight on line through the turn.
Here's where the almost full resto comes in. I have replaced everything in the steering system minus the control valve and steering box.
My questions are:
Is it the control valve?
After rebuilding the ps pump, we went to transmission fluid could that cause interference in the valve?
Or steering box?
Possible incorrect torque specifications on steering links, slave cylinder or control valve itself?
As always all help and opinions are welcomed and appreciated!
