Default 1965 Mustang Power Steering stopped working

The power steering on my 65 Mustang recently stopped working. It has a new control valve, hoses, drag link, and cylinder. No leaks or anything like that. The belt appears to be okay and there is plenty of fluid in the pump. Could the pump have gone bad somehow? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hello. If everything else is new, that doesn't really leave much else that it could be. The power steering pumps are subject to failure just like like any other assembly containing moving parts. When you say 'doesn't work' , do you mean that the car steers normally, but there isn't any power assist and that it isn't making any weird noises? If yes, then your pump has probably gone south on you. Hope that helps, and welcome to the site.
