Hello all,

I'm sorry if this has been asked in a prior post but.....

I have a set of OEM coils that came off my 2006 V6 PP. (had the 06 lowered)

they have been sitting in the shed since 2006.

and was wondering "IF" they would work. IF now what should I do with them if they won't work

Thanks in advance Jeff

well I thought the answer was NO but thought I'd ask anyway

No, the diameter is wrong and won't fit in the spring pockets. Springs are very application specific, so a MacPherson strut spring for a 3300 lb car will be very different from a Short-Long Arm spring for a 2700 lb car. Things such as length, wire diameter, coil diameter, end ground style, and whether or not it's tapered will all affect fitment, spring rate, and ride height. Some things are best not done, and some used car parts are best sent to the junkyard. That is, unless you can work a forge and make knifes out of it.

Paul thanks for the info. I will find something to do with my 2006 coils. Who knows maybe weld a plate on them and make it a coffee table lol
