If it was a 5speed I would say yes, but I don't know much about autos, and stalls I would guess and still say yes.

I would say that you would be lucky to break into the 13's. Eventhough a torque coverter is designed to multiply torque, 2200 is still a little low I think. you still are not really into the power when you leave the line. with an almost stock motor and 2200 stall, you would gain more by installing 4:10's. This way you get up into the power band faster. This could be helped along by using a 26'' tire. Right now you have flow out of the motor but not into it. Therefore not much gained.. except cool sound. My next move would be to get some air and fuel in the motor(pump, throttle body, injectors, intake) Now intake flow rate matches output flow rate. Next would be a limited slip unit. Power is no good if you can't put it down. In fact, if you put 4:10's and posi, I think you could dip into the 13's. Is your shift kit a good one? A good shifting auto shifts faster than any man.

are you saying i am not going to see much flow into the motor w/the ported intake,65mm tb,gt-40 heads over the stock heads-tb and intake?i thought the tb,intake, and heads might be worth 75-100 hp plus an increase in torque.

oh, yes. I thought you meant with the parts listed in you signature only, then later you would install those other parts. I must have had a brain cramp. once you install the heads, intake and tb you will do much better. your motor will flow much better with those parts, however you will not gain 75 to 100 hp. Add a cam, injectors and a fuel pump to that combo and you might see 60hp or so

You should be in the mid 13's with those mods. And you'll be more like 60-65 hp, not 75-100 hp. But everyone concentrates under the hood and not do a thing to the suspension. The proper suspension can cut 2-3 tenths off. You'll need upper and lower control arms, proper springs, subframe connectors, and then you'll cut a lot of time off.
