Default ET Guesses - 1989 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible

Alriight I might be trading the GTX for a 5.0, 5 speed, 89 GT convertable. Im just trying to get a feel for what type of ETs I should expect out of this, heres the mods

- Edelbrock heads, ported
- GT40 lower intake, I think the upper is the Cobra
- bigger throttle body (guessing 70 mm)
- full length headers, idk what size so assume 1 5/8
- different cam, not sure on the specs but its over 500 lift so be conservative and assume something liek the E303
- cold air
- 3.55s

Just by the sound of it, would you assume its be able to run around a 13.8 or better? I plan to put more gear in there and if I keep it get another short block with more cubes and more compression, but for now what would you think this would be capable of. Im expecting high 13s with decent tires, I think it should run more like mid 13s. Whats the consensus, would low 13s maybe be possible with more gear? I know im being really vague with the cam specs which make all of the difference in the world, but let me know what you think. Ill get back when I know the numbers for sure on the grind.

BTW its a convertable, first mod I make - SUB FRAME CONNECTORS

well i hope this will help i have a 94 gt with the stock 5.0 that has over 100k on it. I put bbk full length headers off road x-pipe short throw shifter and some m/t et street radial tires and ran 13.8 in the 1/4. and i had all kinds of problems with the car that day. and with stock suspension from 94. i read something on the net that the 94-95 stangs' computer loses .5 sec in the 1/4 compared the foxes computer hope that helps

Heres my combo
1991 LX Convertible
Stock Bottom end with 160K
Old FMS J302 Heads
Trick Flow track heat intake with 1' Phenolic spacer
Trick Flow Stage II Cam
BBK Long tubes 1 5/8 with 2chambers and dumps.
Stock T-5 w/King Cobra Clutch
Stock 8.8 t-loc,axles w/ 4.10's
26x10.50 ET Streets.
Has been tuned by Lidio 283hp/306 or 366 tq at the wheels
can't remember the torque spec off the top of my head.
This car runs consistant 13.30's it has squeaked in the 13.20's a couple of times. It normally 60's at 1.8 has pulled a couple of 1.799's on stock suspension. That is also full interior in the car nothing stripped but allo f the a/c stuff and the front sway bar. I would think that the car you are looking at should go 13.50's/60's pretty easy.

Before I changed to the setup now,I had bbk shortys,a E303 cam,and a explorer intake and a 3.55 gear and it run inthe 13.50 to 13.70 range.
Damn 13's been trying to get out of them for awhile but other cars keep coming in and taking my money.

James
