First time on the track

97 vert GT, has 373 gear, pypes O/R x pipe, AM TB spacer and Brute force cold air. This is what I ran its kinda sad but its a start. Im running street tires, coopers at that and they suck anyway, factory backend except the gears. Traction was horrible and a better track would be sure to get me better times and some work on my shifting. my 60' is awful but I was having to baby it out of the hole so bad that it was near impossible. I really think they skimped on the VHT since it was just a test and tune but anyway here goes.

If you'll look closely at your left rear tire when you launch it starts to pull and then quits so you're only pulling with the right rear. The limited slip is slipping badly and that appears to be your traction problem.

Yeah I did notice that. the funny thing is all the time ive owned the car both wheels have lit up on the street, and ive did it alot hehe. thought it was wierd that it slipped maybe the extra traction on the track? there was another mustang there as well and he was having the same problem. Oh and stlwagon yes it was a blast. anyone notice my buddy in the Evo gave me a 2 sec jump hehe that thing is sick.

I hope its not an indication my rearend is going out. I just drained it and filled with royal purple. It all looked good to me but my father in law was like you need to be lookin for a rearend, lol i think he wsa seeing things.

You should also look into upper control arms and a rear sway bar. Rod ends on everything should help with binding and a sway bar will help your one-wheel spins.
