Yup, heads will make the biggest difference, you might also step up from the Performer to a Victor JR.

what are yo running now, time wise? How much more do you need to hit 11's? and how much$$ u willing to spend. Reason i ask is because your sig says 400 horse and 150 shot, im assuming that the 400hp is before the 150 shot. If so then thats putting you at the 550 range which with good tires and rear suspension I would say 11's are doable now.

it depends on your cam. a victor jr doesnt start really making power and makes peak power at 7000 rpm. if that is out of your range then probably should stick to a dual plane and just grind on it a little

i have no clue what i am running now. the 400 horse was an estimate by a buddy of mine, but in all reality i think it is lower than that. i would say right now i am only putting out about 350-375.

Really need a little more info. What gears and tires are you running? Do you have 2v or 4v heads? Manual or auto? If auto, what converter? There are alot of variables that can effect your et.

if you put a c-6 in it you will lose quite a bit of hp through the trans. you may want to go to a c-4 unless the car is really heavy

honestly i dont know, but my engine is supposed to have 390 at the crank.according to the e.t calculators on this site with my mph and weight it says i am putting about 350 to the wheels.roughly 10%. from talking to people including my transmission guy 10% is about right.i dont know about a c-6 but my trans guy says it is more than 10% plus the trans itself is a lot heavier. in my case if it was 15% that would be 60 hp loss and 20% would be 80 hp lost.just a few percentage points is too much in my case.

The 4v heads with the intake ports epoxied or the 2v closed chamber heads will work fine. It depends on the cam and compression your running also. You will need a decent set of tires that will hook up, and a low gear ratio. Weight will also have alot to do with your e.t.

alright, i just made the head upgrade. i put on a set of aussie heads. they have been ported, polished, bowls blended, 3 angle valve job, 1 piece stainless valves, helper springs, 1.72 roller rockers, chromoly pushrods. what do you guys think i will be running now? still finishing interior, that is why it has not been to the track yet.
