2004 Supercharged Mustang GT vs 2001 cammed WS6 Trans am
So my buddy just got his 01 ws6 t/a outa the shop, got ram air, comp cam, ported heads, basically full exhaust and 4:10 gears. This thing is quick, so he wanted to race from 25mph roll cuz he knew i wouldnt be able to hook up cuz of my tires. This was late last night, so we line up at a stoplight, no other cars around on our side of the road, and we take off till 25mph in 2nd gear, he does the three honks, and we are off. I put her down and am spinning thru third, barely ahead of him (he spins too). He stays with me for another sec then i start pullin on him slowly. But the end of fourth gear im about 2 car lengths ahead of him. He gave me a good run no doubt, those cammed ls1's are quick. 120 mph down highway 74 lol. My mods are listen below.

I had a buddy with a 99 C5 that did a large cam swap, and also put on ported heads with an ls6 intake, and it completely changed that car. Went from barely hanging with my car (mid 12 sec car) to running spinning mid 11's on street tires. Cams definatly wake up those LS motors, or anything major like heads for that matter.
