I know but I have to compromise. I spend way more time bobbing and weaving through traffic at high speeds than I do at the track so making the car handle has priority over getting a good launch.

in dry conditions drag radials do fairly well on the street, although they have softer sidewalls so throwing them through extreme turns might not be the best idea. i'd say just practice to lower the 60ft. you could always buy drag radials for your stock rear wheels, then upgrade to 17" wheels with radials all around for the street and switch to the smaller wheels/DRs for the track.

Yeah, maybe down the road I'll be able to buy some lightweight rims for the rear with some nice, sticky rubber and just use them at the track. Damn, I need a serious raise to keep feeding this addiction!
