Hey man, if your running at Bandimere's Speedway, which is at 5800 ft, mid 15.5's is an awesome time for a stock '99 mustang gt. In fact, any stock car (exceptions are ZO6's, Vipers, etc.) running those numbers are considered to be very fast. The 5800 ft altiude is not corrected for air density, which means that you could be running another 1000ft higher!!! I've seen trailered vehicles that could barely break the low 15's. You should definitely hold on to that gem, because it that motor must have been built on the right day. The average run of thumb is around 1 second, which also isn't corrected for air density. I plan to run my 88 LX up there this Friday or the week after. My license's plate is E85-PWR. Hope to see you there. |
