Default 26x11.5x15 M/T ET Streets too big?

I just bought 26x11.5x15 M/T ET Streets are they a little to big for optinum perfomance? I have a T-5 88lx with 70000 miles and weighs 3150 with driver. Mods inslude; Exploror intake, 65mm TB, ram air, ASP pullys, 255 fuel pump, Hypertech chip, MSD coil & 6AL, 1 5/8 headers, 2 1/2 exhaust & H pipe, Centreforce DF clutch, 3.73 gear, weld on sub frames, Ground Pounder upper & lowers, GP drag springs, removed front sway bar. I have not had a chance to try them out because the only thing racing on the track this time of year are snowmobiles.

I think you will be just fine. If they bite too much, up the psi. Too little drop the psi

For some reason MT uses a different measuring method for ET Streets so an 11.5" ET Street is really about the size of a 10" ET Drag. Should be fine for you. An 8" slick would probably have been better for less rolling resistance down the track but it won't be that big of a deal.

Man has a point. Sometimes you can over-tire a car. Had a buddy who switched from a 10.5 to a 13. Slowed him by a 1/2 second. Too much drag and rolling resistance.
Keep in mind that rotating weight is also 3 times what dead weight is.
