Hey , Old New Guy here. Turn fifty-five next month and just bought a 2006 GT with a 5 speed. I am loving it, but. Took it to the track the other night and ran it three times. Since I am new to it, and haven't driver a stick in thirity years, I did ok, Didn't miss a gear and best was 14.47 at 96 mph. Spun all the way through first. So the question is,,,What up grade first? CAI, Chip, Better rear tires? What do you long time guys suggest? Thanks in advance
1989 gt 5.0 5 speed Hurst short throw shifter, Brand new summit racing long tubes MAC shorty H pipe in to 2 super 50 series flows with 45 degree turn outs. MSD billet distributor MAC CAI 140 speedo all this and shes pretty on the way MSD 7 al ignition,
Hello I am not a long time guy.I can suggest Lower control arms and a Upper control arm from Cheperformance.com. They also have some anti-squat brackets which would help get the power to the ground.Mickey Thompson ET streets are good for traction.Brenspeed has them with wheels. Cold air intake and tune is very good. Jlt and a SCT3 with a Bamachips.com tune or Brenspeed tune is also good.

Thanks for the suggestions. So I'll start with the CAI Any suggestions, or should I just go with a K&N? Maybe something cheeper will do the job?. Guess I need to sell my 355 S10 and buy some stuff for the Mustang. Thanks again.
If you're going to buy a CAI, buy a tuner also. To get the best gain, you will want a good tune. If you are spinning the tires bad now, a CAI and tune will make you spin more. Tires, suspension first, then add more power.
