New time slips with MT ET streets with my 2006 Mustang GT
Here are some new time slips. I know I can do better it is just getting the take off at the right time. First time I red lighted -.086 which did not help,I threw that slip away.

I can't help but think your 60 ft. should be a little better. What rpm are you launching at? With those tires you should be in the 1.9's fairly easy. Don't worry about your R/T the clocks don't start until your car moves. Basically you could sit there all day and if your car doesn't move it won't trip the clocks. Try launching at a higher rpm and let us know how it goes. Good luck

What were you runnin before the MT's? Did they help your time and if so how much?
I had the stock pirrellies.I have an automatic and it is 5600 ft above sea level here.I think I can get at least a 1.9,may need a new mod or 2 to get there and the driving mod will help.I think next time out I am going to be all over that 60 ft.

I think it is about 1500-1800 because at 2000 my tires start spinning. Now this is only if I do not heat the tires that much . If I heat em good then I think I can hold at 2000.

Are these radials or bias ply?
The redlight has no effect on your ET...

I had the same question. If they are the M/T Drag radials I would say drop them down to about 20psi give them a decent burn out and try to drop the hammer at about 4000 rpm's they're goin to spin but they shouldn't spin that much. If they do spin alot, which I doubt those m/t's hook like hell, try the same launch rpm but slipping the clutch slightly not too much just enough to get you off the line and on your way. If they are the E.T Street bias ply, set the tire pressure at about 14 to start out, do a mild burnout they don't need that much, and repeat the launching procedure the same way as with the drag radials. My best recommendation would be to start at 14, but no more than 14, see how it hooks and drop it little by little but no lower than 10 psi. Any lower and your risking breaking your parts in your drivetrain. The idea with the E.T. streets and stock axles is to have a little bit of spin, not a dead hook, to further prevent breakage. Hope this helps a bit.

These are drag radials and the car is an automatic. The tires seem to have more than 20 psi. I think it is closer to 35psi.I thought they where suppose to hook up. The best time I had it seemed to spin a bit.

Yeah that tire pressure is very high for those tires, drop them down to 22-20psi. I was under the impression that it was a 5 speed. Ok those 60 ft. aren't bad at that elevation my apologies bro, but there still is room for improvement once you lower the tire pressure. Ok than, another trick would be to follow the burnout and tire procedure and when you line up from a dead idle jus floor it. This should help flash the converter as high as possible and get you off the line a bit faster if there isn't much wheelspin. Those tires should hook pretty well, remember to try to line up in the groove as best as you can or you can have a track official line you up in it. I know some tracks, like when I lived in colorado, won't let you get in the groove unless you have slicks but it's rare.

I tried that and that makes me spin a lot, well if I heat them dots it wont . That I believe is the key. I will get it I am very determined and the starters have helped me . They are watching me to see if I can figure this out on my own. I am going to try some 101 fuel also Friday night. I have not tried shifting the gears on the auto ,not sure if it is wise?

just give them a little heat and launch off Idle. that's what works best for me.
