Is that a descent time for running my 2002 Ford Mustang GT, which is totally stock and an automatic? I figured it was a pretty descent time for my first time down the track with it..Whats evreyone else think?

good job!! Ya first time i took my new setup to the track a couple of weeks ago i ran a 14.2 or something like that. Just that im missing 2 cylinders somewhere?? lol Just teasing
Keep goin and practice, you'll get those times down. Its all about knowing how to drive your car

thats amazing, i was running 14.9s in my v6 and i kill 02 gts all the time, my buddy has one and he pulls on me a bit cuz of his gearing but my top end just killlllls him

Sorry. I'm still newbie, and didn't look at your profile. I will have to say that a 14.2 in a stock GT with an automatic is quite impressive. My first run was around the mid 15's, and that was with a mildly modified 383 Roadrunner!

Time for new friends If I miss shift, over rev first and spin half way through second, My 00 GT with K&N typhoon and Accufab plenum (stock throttle body) will run 14.75

What does your car run now?

To the OP- that is a frikin amazing time. the best time i got out of mine, my first time to the track in a RWD, and my 4th time to the track in total, My bone stock GT With Crap launch Eibach sportlines ran 14.4 on a manual trans.

We have stock GT's running low 14's all day long. 13's are common place with CAI, DR's, and better gearing......

well up hear aka 4,330ft i pull on the 99-04 body gt with my full exhaust and intake with gears i get them on the top end but im only runing 14.4

Dang, You really need to get to lower ground lol. What was your trap speed?

Mine with stock gears sportlines and drag radials runs consistent 13.6-13.7
