Without a vacuum canister your brakes will suck at idle, thats about the only drawback. Doesn't sound like a daily driver with a cam like that so prolly wouldn't worry about it. Best thing to do is just try it out somewhere that you can't hurt anything and see how it works:P
Brakes are really the only thing you need to be concerned with when running low vaccuum on a set up like yours. Push the pedal once to slow down and they will likely be fine but let off thr brakes and hit em again and they will prolly not have the vacc to boost a second hit so you'll be all manual style.
