Well, if they are designed for 44PSI max Cold Pressure, then you should run atleast 40PSI in them on the street to promote even tread wear, and gain maximum sidewall support.
At the track, I see no reason why you couldn't start at 25PSI and go down. You can get you one of the Pnacake style air compressors to take with you to bring them back up to pressure to drive home.
I am not sure wha the minumum cold air pressure is on them, but I know that some offroad tries are designed to run as low as 15PSI.

I drove to the drag strip last time with my MT's on and it was pretty hot. I think I started out with like 32psi and then it hit me on the way to the track that number would be alot higher when they are hot. Got out and checked them and they were at 44psi.
Moral of the story, if you put them on at the track, recheck your air pressure after your first run. It will be much higher. I usually try to run 20psi.
