Default Fastest V6 N/A 1/8 mile Drag times

Last night I ran at the strip 1/8 mile in 9.811 @72.22mph with a reaction time of .538 is that pretty good? 2.278 for the 60

That's about a 15.3 in the 1/4 mile. Not bad! Focus on your 60' times and you'll see steady improvement.

If .538 is the number printed on your time slip, that means your actual RT was thirty-eight hundredths of a second; .500 is perfect there.

My bests at that track (not all the same day or same run) :
RT .503
60 ft 2.365
MPH 72.23
ET 10.000

I believe it depends on the type of starting tree but im not positive...As far as rt goes it can depend on how deep or shallow you actually stage and does not effect your et.

It's a matter of their ability to print a meaningful "time" for red-lighters without dealing in negative numbers, I guess.

A redlight printout would show .462 rather than -.038.

All i know is where i race, lebanon valley dragway, i have plenty of sub .500 RT that arent a red light. .000 is perfect there and i've seen a few negative numbers!

Ive seen both types of timers, and if the one our friend used was in fact a .000 timer, then he was asleep at the light, over half a second. Makes more sense to me that the light he cut was probably the .500 kind but who knows.

I was down to 9.50's on street tires a long time ago with my '01. We have buddies with N/A V6's running 13's in the 1/4 mile.
