Default have a question about m/t drag radials

how long do the m/t et street drag radials last? i have a set and they are pretty much bald are they still good for the track even though are bald? they are not showing wires. thank you

The good sticky part of the tire is gone pretty much once the sipes or wear bars are gone.

I wouldn't rely on them anymore if they are that worn.

Also, their age become a factor.

i appreciate the reply i'll just have to buy some more do u have any ideas on where to get them pretty cheap? 275/55/17-tire size thats on the rim now and if possible can i fit a wider drag radial on the factory split tri star 17s

Here are the only two choices I see for 17" and wider. The 3744 & 3745.

Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels

If you dropped to 15" your choices go up.

For pricing, Harlow Tire on ebay is hard to beat. Also, they have a lot in stock that is now on Back Order elsewhere. They are local to me, and great people.

i asked a similar question on a differnet board.... the responses I got were basically "if they still hook then they are ok" change them when your 60's start to worsen.

Mine are wore out also but still hook way better then the street tires..,, R2R
