ET time diff between opened diff and a locker? what kinda ET loss is there with a opened diff vs a limited slip or locker?
I just installed my 3.73 gears and found the LS next to worthless (duh) but its VERY loose, Maybe I washed all the grit holding the clutches together....

worn out vs working track lock Well, I can tell you what rebuilding my track lock did for me: I had what is called "one wheel peel" with old/worn differential my times averaged were 15.23 at about 94 and my a verage 60 foot time was 2.61 With rebuilt track lock my times averaged 14.95 at about 92 and my average 60 foot time was 2.20 so 0.41 was gained at the 60 ft Before you laugh, This was a couple years ago with a bone-stock 100k + mile H.O.

Those times are better than mine...
Mine seamed to be tight, tell I changed gears...or maybe Im NUTS
I didnt bother rebuilding the oem unit, knowing in time it was going to be replaced and 31 spline axles installed, but I guess I have to pull it apart AGAIN. I may have to anyway...the new gears have a high pitch noise on the coast side.....NOT HAPPY, and Iv set up at least a couple hundred gear sets, and never heard ANY weird noises
