tips and tricks?

i was just wondering if anyone could let me in on some tips or tricks they use when racing....i'm going out to the tracks tomorrow night. i have street tires on it, but the tread isn't that great. any ideas what rpm to launch at? shift points?

You'll have to play around w/ the launch rpm just try and find the sweet spot where it doesnt spin or bog the motor down.And im assuming you're
racing at action "in terre haute" which the last time i was there hooked halfway good.I'd srtart of fat a grand then work your way up or down from there..ANd on the shift points i'd go for 6000

cool thanks......i was going to race here in terre haute, but i'm going to go back to IRP in clermont, IN. i live close to there.....i'm just in terre haute for school.

Well since ur going to irp leave at an idle...That track sucks
