i have a 3.8 that runs a 15.6 and tuner came up to me and asked were the track ends and i saw a whole bunch of guages i asked him if he was turboed he said no he ran a 15.1 in the quater should i beleave him does anyone know if a stock vtec or sometin can run that

it would be hard for me to believe that it was completely stock. maybe upgraded the ecu aniend with an h22( or h23) under the hood. i have been with him leaving an '04 vette and a 06 5.0 in the dust, but theres a bit of tuning done to it. header,exhaust, and the ecu was the major thing. no turbo. no turbo, though.

Yeah those DOHC motors can fly for sure. I built a Integra type-R Motor for a buddy of mine and he was running 11's on motor. He couldnt even use a 5" tach, he had to run one out of Busa! I think redline was around 12k.

Those guys drop some serious money in those motors for not to much GO ont he street. You almost have to run slicks on the front of those cars with 400+HP. It isnt even fun after you have to do that. My buddies Motor and trans build totaled up to about $35K and then he blew it up at the track! LOL He should have bought a Mustang!

yes some of those rice grinders do red-line at places UN-thinkable
