Default help with wich transmission use?

hi guys I need help choosing the transmission for my 89 ford mustang i got a c5 out of 86 ford thunderbird a c6 from a 83 van and a my original aod from my mustang,right now a got 68 c4 but look like is broke because is not shifting to the 3er gear,i like to keep my c4 but i have to pull it so i can take it to rebuild,any help the be nice thanks.

C3...junk...AOD...if under 400HP...C6 is heavy and soakes up HP...C4? Get it rebuilt and live happily ever after.

c-4 is what you want to stick with.if it is built right(its still cheap)you shouldnt have to mess with your trans for many years
