Well, since I don't see drag radials or slicks, I'm going to tell you to tack it up to 2000 RPMs. Get the RPM's there fast, because the tree will start counting down before you know it.

When the third (final) yellowlight flashes, begin to apply more gas as right before you pop the clutch. If it results in a bog (a bad jolt with RPM drop) increase the rpms to 2500. If it results in tires spin, you can either 1: reduce RPM launch 2: feather the clutch a little more 3: not give it gas before releasing the clutch.

Its an art. It also depends on the track conditions.

I men as far as the staging, will I role and red light if I just set there with the clutch in? Should I use the e-brake?

That's another skill you have to learn: Where you release point is.

When you're staged, you absolutely cannot touch that release point until you're ready to roll. If there's doubt, than leave the clutch pedal closer to the floor than not. Rolling through before launch is a very, very embaracing thing.

Do NOT use the e-brake.

I don't know about everyone else but from driving my car everyday I know the exact location of engagement and I can hold it right before that. Your car should not roll with the clutch in. Just ease it up there till the second light comes on and brake real quick. That is deep staging and if your car does roll just a little bit you will still not break the beams and not red light. As far as launching, every car and every track is different. TheMolarMass is right for starting out.
