I just have to tell someone about this since only two people witnessed it. I go to college at Cornell university so their are lots of rich snobs. Everyone drives bmw's or audi's. My daily driver is a 2004 ranger reg cab shortbed 2wd 5 speed with a 2.3. I got bored tonight and decided to go out for a ride. I was romping on it a little and this audi a4 ghetto rimmed fart canned ricer pulls up next to me at a light revving like he wants to go. so, I ease out of it at about three grand, grab second and third. haha I couldnt believe it I beat him by a good half truck length the whole pull. I rolled down the window and pointed and laughed at him when we were slowing down. Wish you coulda seen the embarassed look on his face. Priceless.

I used to have an 03 ranger with the same set up so I know where you're coming from. If you launch them right you can really get it going. Mine crapped out ant 90 though otherwise it ran like a champ. Love to hear a good underdog story. Congrats on the win.

Yeah mine hits the speed limiter at around 90 in fourth gear. Luckily this race never hit those speeds because it was in town.

Makes me wonder if someone did add some aftermarket bolt ons how'd they run? I'm sure someones probably done it.
