Which MT ET model do you have? MT ET Drag or the Drag Radials?

if you didnt change anything, including tire height the e.t. drags are slowing you down.4 mph is a big drop

why cant you seem to get them hot. you could always use the brake pedal accelrator move to get your tires to spin.

You have the wrong tires on your Mustang, you should have gotten the MT ET Drag Radials. They're made for cars with an automatic transmission and don't need to be heated up. If you keep warming up your drag tires, you're going to burn out your trans.

well imo if you race you need a line lock its the best 150 bucks ive ever spent , but if your running the et streets ( dr's ) try them at 15psi thats where ive had the best luck also the thing no1 mentioned is the stock tires are a 27" tire as the mt's are a 26" tire ( really something like 25.7 but whatever lol ) it will affect your times due to the 4.10's you are turning off your od right ? if not its probably switching into od before the end of the run which will kill et's

+1 on the size. I also think you have too much tire. And yes, you have to get them hot. However, if you do you'll probably bog on the line.

You should probably look into a DR. Nitto DR would be ok, or better yet a MT ET street.

A line lock would also be an excellent idea.
