94 gt 5.0-first time at strip, what to expect/advice?
well this friday im goining to be going to my local strip for the first time. I have a 94 GT 5.0 auto tranny, full exhaust and cai on kumho tires. What et's should i expect on this 1/8th track? (closest 1/4 is about an hour and a half away) should i try to avoid the water box with street tires? should i do a burnout? Whats the best way to launch with my aode? thanks for any help/advice!
what track??. go around the water turn the tires over a little to clean them off, then use your left foot on the brake and give it a little gas and when the last yellow comes on mash it. but if it spins next runs try pedaling it out a little. good luck let us know how you do.

i plan on running her on test and tune night (friday) at northeast dragway in hertford, nc. What if i cant avoid the water box? what then? (not sure as ive only been there once and didnt pay much attention to the box) thanks!
at every track ive been to you can just drive around it, if you cant I would say do a burnout then to get the water off. but you should be able to get around it.
