Default how can i run low 13s

I need to know what I need to do to my v6 in order to run low 13s or I'm going with a v8 swap and I need a list of stuff for that to if I go with the v8 I have 2 choices the stock motor with 260hp or a motified one tha makes 300 hp what should I do ???

well theres no substitute for cubic inches. but theres a 4 banger here thats in the 13's

it can be done

a cai some high gears. updated drive shaft
t loc dual exaust
weight reductions a good tune
an internal engine rebuild kit.

if ur a daily driver try 4.10s if u are only racing it 5.60's

if you drive it alot. or on highway stick with 3.73's

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

strip the car down to bare bones, get some drag slicks and toss on a nitrous kit. that should run you, all together, less than $1000.

+1..... You don't always have to carry the bottle around either. It is safe on our cars with the right tune. That is what I have on the '01.......

I would take the Stock 281.
My goal is to run low 13's high 12's N/A and possibly just street tires (Eagle F1 D3's) you could just do a full bolt on like
4.10's, SCT Tune, Throttle Body and Plenum, CAI, Headers Mid Pipe and Catback, Intake, Aluminum Driveshaft, U/D Pulleys, Suspension Work, Drag Radials, and more

Spend all that money, or just bottle feed the V6.......
