The sumitomos are nice for the first 6 months. Then you gotta keep them away from water. They have terrible wet traction in my opinion. But i'm happy with them because it hardly ever rains here.

hey man, i have the 315's you are talking about. i have had them for about a year now. you wont break an axle man.. i've done hard launches, burnouts, drifts... those nitto drags are some nice stuff. i dont think i will ever want to go with a diff tire.

+1 to the above.

I LOVE my nittos. With a S/C and 4.10s I need all the traction I can get and the nittos do the job. they are fine in the rain too; I haven't had a problem yet. Snow and ice, well, that's a different story.....

No offense guys, but I have the 555's and I think they're crap compared to MT's or the BFG's. They just don't have the bite I was looking for on the '01. I have MT's on the '02 and you can feel the difference in the burnout box. The treadwear rating on the Nitto's are 100, while the MT's and BFG's are 0.

Granted, you will get more miles out of the Nitto's......
