Default Will a 15x8x26 Slick Mount on a Stock 15" rim ?

hey guys could i put a pair of american racer slicks (15X8X26) on a stock set of 15" mustang rims onto my lowered 94 cobra?? would the backspacing be ok on the stock rim? any clearence problems i might run into? the slick is only 8" wide

it all depend on the width of the wheel
if its a 15x7 i see no problem......

yep its a 15X7 and the tire is 15X8x26. I appreciate the help!

Aren't the stock pony wheels 16x7?

Maybe he has some v6 rims for that year?

not sure if there from a v6 or v8 but the 99-01 mustangs came with some 6 spoke 15x7's

I too don,t see a problem with them fitting. If you're worried about them fitting and may have to return the tire go to a reputable tire shop and have them mount just one tire and make sure it fits before mounting both so that if you do have to send or take the tires back you only need to dismount onr tire and less chance od damage
