Beech Bend opened for the year yesterday. It was packed, of course. Didn't have a bad day all in all. Posted a 13.18 in the '01 with lousy track prep. My best 60ft was only 1.97 on DR's.

My Son ran an 11.53 before a rocker layed over on him. We have some convertor blow by we need to address because his load was only at 105%. Time to take it out and have it tightened up.

All in all, it was a great day to get some Winter race aggression out......

Glad you had a good time. It is fun when you can get out after a long winter of keeping the cars all cooped up.

You guys who have the tracks open already make me sick! I have to wait a couple more weeks here in the snowbelt and I'm getting pretty antsy.

We have the racers preseason meeting next Sunday. That ought to really light the fire for the coming season.

Thanks! Can't wait to get it out again for some real track numbers. It should be in the mid 9's. I have a slight out of round journal(.001") on the crank, and nobody can seem to get it right. It's aggravating......
