I've never been to beech bend. Its 4 hours away, but I'm planning on going sometime this year. I always go to London, ky. About 1 hr 20 min. away from where I live. I've seen pics of beech bend though. As far as the track and stands. I think London dragway is better and bigger.

Went to the track tonight for 1st time this year with new mods.

Ran 4 Passes

1st pass: 14.49

2nd pass: 14.24

3rd pass: 14.21

4th pass: 60 ft--2.04
330ft--5.92
594ft--8.50
1/8----9.08
1/8mph--78.41
1/4----14.09
1/4mph--96.16

Will post video later. That only makes 5 passes for me ever. I was launching at 2K. Wasn't spinning that bad. tire pressure at 35lbs in nitto 555r. Do you think I could drop the tire psi and launch at a higher rpm and get into the 13s?? That is my goal.. I think my 60ft ET should be better than what it was.. Give me any advice you can... One more ??? What can subframe connectors do for me... Thinking about getting some cause they are pretty cheap.. THANKS...

ill let you in on a little secret with drag radials.. u cant go dump the clutch with a drag radial they cant take the shock they'll go up in smoke..the way i do it is i rev my car to 4500 -5000rpm (idk exactly i dont look at the tach) then at the same time lift off the clutch and gently give it more throttle.. the car has to roll at least a foot to hook up good on a radial.. now nitto's dont even compare to et street radial or a hoosier radial..ive had both and they work great!! never tried a nitto because of the rumora about them.. my car ran 12.2's on mickey thompson radial (275/50r15) with 16psi, do go no less that 14 bcuz it wont ride on all the tire it will start riding on the side wallls and ull spin.. but the bette plan is to buy a et street wrinkle wall.. and put them at 12psi and dump the clutch at 5 grand.. stock 8.8 will take alot of abuse, but i run the same et with a wrinkle wall as well as with a drag radial... good luck and have fun =)

Video of fastest time. Didn't show my 1/4 speed, 96.16 was the other car's. I posted 96.16, but I guess that is wrong. Not sure what mine was.

looks like you spinning off the line...

but otherwise a nice launch....

did you have the front sway bar attached

from what i see the front needs to extend upward to transfer weight to the rear....

but these are little things that will come with time and experience

Now what i saw that was really good......

You tree'd the outta the guy in the other lane.....

We are going to Beech Bend the next 2 Saturdays. This weekend with my '01 to just hammer it, and next weekend with my turbo car if we can get the tune right next Tuesday on the dyno.

My front sway bar is attached. If I took it off, how much would it affect normal drivin. Don't really drive it that much. Every now and then.

I've never been out west to Beech Bend, but I'm going to try to make my way out there in a few weeks.

Besides the sway bar question. The first weekends the track opens up. Do you think they have all there time and speed markers set up correctly? Cause it never did show trap speed in the right lane that day. Just wondering.

I don't recommend driving the car on the street with out it...

but you can disconnect at the track...

or in your case....

you could take off just remember that you can't take corners the way you use to......

+1 I run my Nitto's down to about 16. Anything after that, it kills my trap speed.......
