Subframe connectors will make the car stiffer and give better handling overall and reduce body flex (a good thing)...I'd recommed welding the rear boxes and getting some really good upper and lower rear control arms, I have Granatellis..delete the quad shock...your 60ft/Et will get much better...a trunk mounted battery is good as well, get the weight off the front and put it to use in the rear...take out the passenger seat (and any other junk you can), get a lightweight driver seat (saving about 200lbs total), 100lbs = 0.1 ET/1/4 mile...you will easily be in the 13s at this point...

Went back to the track tonight finally made it into the 13s. I'm going to do my suspension tomarrow evening. Upper and lower control arms. I hope that helps me a little more. Tonight I took my front sway bar off. It helped alot. The later it got the worse it got. Started spinning in first couldn't hook up good. I'll post video later.

I have 3.73 gear and it is a 5 speed. Everything that is done to my car is on the 1st post. Those control arms were a B***H to put on by myself.

ok, but as far as bumping fuel pressure up will I have to get a regulator or how do I do it? explain please. And u say "try stock gap and go from there" do you mean increase or decrease gap from stock? I know stock is 0.054. I'll try anything that may help. Thanks.

This is the Video of my last visit to the track. This is before the upper and lower control arm install. Hopefully I do better next time. But i'm already were I wanted to be, in the 13s.

I wish my car would cut 1.8 60's! Darn FWD...

Have you thought about a little shot of giggle gas? That would definitely liven up your top end!

Also, getting it dyno'ed and posting up the graph would help some of the more experienced fellows recommend a good shift RPM. If you haven't tried altering that, it may be worth your while to try shifting a few hundred RPM earlier. I tried to shift at 6000 rpm each time until after a dyno session and I saw a steep drop off after 5700 RPM. So now by shifting a few hundred revs sooner my car was in the meat of it's powerband in each gear. Picked up about 3 MPH but the rubbish launch kept my time high.

I have thought about that, but I think i'm going to hold off on that.

As far as shifting, I have been shifting at 5000rpm, maybe I should shift at a higher rpm. I have a stock motor what rpm should I be shifting at???

Dyno is on the to do list. Its just to far away to go to with just what I have done to my car. But if that may help I'll consider doing it as quick as I can.

what rpm are you launching.....

you may want to try lowering you launch rpm & shift 5200 ...

there is no set shifting rpm, each car is different the only way to get close is have the car dyno'd so you know where the powerband is......
