First trip to the track (advice or suggestions) ok so i may go to the track for the first time and ill be on street tires which kinda stinks but oh well.

its fun, you will need to get some good tires soon, how do you like the sound of your pypes , i bought the same set up for my 93 5.0 conversion, herd good and bad, i want it on the louder side and im going to be catless , had a problem with my first tail pipes from pypes, wouldnt fit , sent me amother set seems ok but can not done yet, big G

i like the sound aggressive, loud, deep, and sounds like it has more then it does. i have a vid in the exhaust vid thread if you want to hear it at some revs, ill have to get one driving so everyone can see what it sounds like under a load.

oh i will do all of that. im thinking mid 14's or so for a baseline.

just remember with street tire there is no need for John Force burnouts .....
just spin them enough to clean them off .....
stage the car wait for the last yellow.....leave
just drive thru the wheel stand it will settle down just pass the 60'....

i know just for some reason my tires dont leave marks on pavement for very long it could be the make up of the tire. not even sure if they smoke alot.
